New To Sunday School?

If you haven't registered your children in grades Pre-K 3 through 5th for Sunday School, there's no time like the present.  We would love to get to know you and your children.   Printable Registration Form

Nursery

While parents are in church and older children are in Sunday School, babies and toddlers are welcome in our nursery.  Equipped with friendly caregivers and plenty of activities, infants and toddlers, to three years old, will find the nursery a fun place to be.

Children's Choir

Children's Choir is a great opportunity for your children Pre-K 3 and older to express themselves musically. We meet each Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. in the church office building.  Parents are welcome to fellowship and coffee in the courtyard at that time.  The choir will perform for the congregation on the first Sunday of each month, so please come to practice...and come often!  Visit our Choir page for a sample of the Children's Choir in action!

Young Families Fellowship

This group of families with younger children meets to discuss their common interests and concerns, ranging from child-rearing to Bible study.  They offer camping trips and other events specific to their age-group.

Seasonal Events

Special times of the church year are celebrated through a variety of activities.  These may include:

  • Christmas Pageant
  • Lenten Outreach Project
  • Parish Picnic
  • Children's Sunday
  • Vacation Bible School
  • Blessing of the Animals

Youth Group and Acolyte Guild

Youth Group is for tweens and teens in 6th through 12th grades.

Acolyte Guild begins in 5th grade and continues throughout middle and high school.  Visit the Youth Ministry page for times, events and program descriptions.

Curriculum for grades 1-5

Children are invited to discover something wonderful at Good Shepherd Sunday School.  It's a place to grow in the love of God through meaningful experiences, fellowship and fun.  We offer a warm and accepting environment where faith is developed through worship, experience, service and song.  A variety of engaging programs enables our youngest members to realize their essential roles in our Christian community.  Children of all ages have a place at Good Shepherd.
