Good Shepherd Thanks You!
This year, Good Shepherd’s annual dinner and dance fundraiser, Artie’s Party, was celebrated in the distinctive and fun-loving style of Spain! We had a fantastic time at La Gran Fiesta!
We had about 168 in attendance and were able to raise an amount greater than our committed Outreach budget for an entire year! We couldn’t have achieved this without the help of many people. From securing auction items to behind-the-scenes data entry, hand making hundreds of empanadas to uncorking bottles, setting tables to serving appetizers — we are so grateful.
Thanks to Ann Ballard, Susan Bardin, Evelyne Bates, Beth Bohnsack, Laurie Caudle, Bryce Chant, Mark and Peggy Chittum, Jeanne Couillard, Beverley Cunningham, Courtney Davis, Pam DeFelice, David and Traci Dixon, Allison Duarte, John and Sandy English, Paula Fullager, Joe Gaudet, Dan and Debbie Gilbert, The Good Shepherd Youth Group, Heather Graham, Peggy Greene, Harry and Kathy Hawken, Sally Honeyman, Mike Howard, Timm Johnson-Reynolds, David and Sally Loetell, Ed and Beth Long, Doug Miller, Todd Mobury, Brent and Katharine Murray, Sandi O’Malley, Steve and Catherine Oenbrink, Denise Parson, Connie Pesce, Jessica Makens, Karen Rupar, Nancy Scarpa, Doug and Shannon Scharf, Pete and Merike Seely, Sylvia Simon, Christine Vanderwesthuizen, Steve Vaughn, Cameille Walch, Barbara Waters, and Jo Wood.

Muchas Gracias to our prize drawing sponsors: The Travel Gallery/Joan Dowrick, and CellBack/Alex Seely. We loved the food, and we love Peggy Greene and her team for coordinating the preparation and presentation of so much of it. And thanks to our entertainers who brought us smooth Spanish sounds at the auction — Sylvia Zanelli Simon and Pete Seely, beautiful ballet coordinated by Jennifer Cole, and performed by Faith Hunt and Brooklyn Vice of Performing Arts Academy of Jupiter, and of course, our own lovely Las Bamba-shells!

Good Shepherd's Annual Auction and Dinner (also known as Artie's Party) is a delightful annual event that raises funds for the Mission and Ministry of serving those in need in locally, regionally, and globally. Parish and community participation, kind donations, and many helping hands, together, make it possible to raise the resources needed to fund programs that feed, clothe, and shelter the most vulnerable in our midst.
What's more, the Auction and Dinner is a total blast! We have a great time at this event each year. You can expect incredible decorations, delicious refreshments, silent and live auctions, prize drawings, a three-course dinner and splendid entertainment all crafted around the theme of that year.
