The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd
"We Have A Place For You."
A church is a community. The Good Shepherd community is centered around loving God and each other greatly, and bringing other people to God's community of faith, the Church.
Our many programs and activities encourage the participation of everyone to contribute their special gifts and skills.
There is one body and one Spirit - just as you were called to one hope when you were called - one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all. But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it. It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
Ephesians 4:4-7, 11-13
Please think about the special gifts you have been given that will make up the body of Christ.
Perhaps your hands can knit the scarf that will keep a sailor warm, or make the sandwich that will fill an empty stomach. Maybe you have the welcoming smile that will greet someone new, a spirit that can heal, or the lips that tell a sacred story to a new generation. It's possible that you have the eyes to see needs and solutions, the heart to create interest and excitement, or the mind to guide the body wisely. Whatever your gift...
We have a place for you.
