Grow spiritually through generosity. Gifts of time, talent and treasure become an outward example of faith in our lives today. Good Shepherd offers a variety of ways to be a good servant in the context of Christian caring.
Living the Vision begins on Sunday, October 14, and will conclude with a pledge card in-gathering
on Sunday, November 11. Read the Narrative Budget now!
For our 2019 Stewardship campaign, Living the Vision, we want to be transparent and informational about the importance of your financial support, as we realize our shared vision for Good Shepherd Church and School.
We encourage everyone to read our 2019 Narrative Budget, available in the Narthex, the church office, and HERE. It is full of insight into who we are and how we live into our mission of being a beacon of faith, hope and love.
On Sunday, November 11, we are going to have our Pledge Card Ingathering. This is the day to bring your card to church to be blessed. We will follow this meaningful ceremony with a celebration in the courtyard and we hope everyone can attend. Any pledge cards submitted in advance of that date will be included in the blessing — even online pledges!
If you cannot be here that day, please feel free to submit your pledge electronically. You will be able to request a confirmation for your records as well.
This group of lay people meets each year in the summer and fall to plan and execute the annual Stewardship Program for the parish. This work is critical to the ongoing success of Good Shepherd. Participating in Stewardship is a great way to get to know may people in the parish!
Budgetary decisions and planning are recommended by the Finance Committee and presented to the Vestry for approval. The Finance Committee begins meeting in the late summer to begin the important work of budgeting for the coming year.
Outreach & Missions Committee
Good Shepherd considers stewardship to others in need to be a vital component of our ministry here. Each year we budget to help groups and individuals on local, regional, national and global levels. Click HERE for a list of some of the ministries we support.
