Youth Group in Action...
Thanks to Youth Group for serving at Artie's Party on February 7. We couldn't have done it without you!!
This elegant evening out in our own Parish Hall is a demonstration of hard work and learning by our Youth Group in the fine art of gourmet cooking. It takes team work, concentration, planning, cooperation, and yes, even prayer to produce a fine meal.

David Dixon, Youth and Family Minister
David Dixon is our full-time Youth and Family Minister. David holds a Master of Divinity degree from Emory University, and over the past twenty years has served in a variety of contexts working primarily with children, youth, and families. Most recently, David served as the Director of Youth and College Ministries at the Episcopal Church of the Advent in Spartanburg, South Carolina, where he nurtured a thriving youth program, led youth on pilgrimages and mission experiences, and trained and developed volunteer leadership. As a musician, David enjoys playing the piano and was instrumental in organizing a youth praise band. We are excited to welcome David and his family to Good Shepherd as we begin this new journey of ministry together, beginning in August.

The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd
Youth Group at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church
Youth ministry at Good Shepherd is approached from the standpoint that each of our middle- and high-school-aged members is created in God’s image, yet a unique expression of this creation. Youth Group seeks to provide a safe and loving environment in which our adolescents can explore their gifts and identities as they grow into adults.
