What do you do in Youth Group?
Plenty! We have lots of opportunities for involvement. We're a friendly bunch and we actively participate in the life of the parish. Some of the things we do include:
It's not just another program...it's a JOURNEY...join the fun!
All youth are encouraged to participate in our
Sunday services as an Acolyte.

Youth Group in Action...
Chez Youth Group
Saturday, March 30, 2019
The major spring fundraiser to support the youth group's summer mission trip will be an elegant sit-down dinner with food prepared by the youth. The menu will feature restaurant-quality dishes that were tested by the youth at their annual Winter Retreat in January. Please come out for a great meal, and to see our middle- and high-school students showcase their cooking skills!
Information about tickets and times will be coming soon!
Diocesan Acolyte Festival
Saturday, April 27, St. Philips. Coral Gables
Annual meeting of Acolytes from Southeast Florida. This is a great event just for the sheer number of young people gathered together who all serve the church. Contact Kevin Johnson, Good Shepherd's Acolyte Master, for more information.

Youth Vision Statement
Good Shepherd Youth Group will provide a joyful, loving and respectful community that allows each of its members to grow into the unique person that God intends him or her to be, to develop responsibility, independence, teamwork and leadership skills, and to connect with peers, the parish and the local and global communities through a combination of shenanigans, fun outings, spiritual development and outreach activities.
Welcome to Youth Group at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church!
Youth ministry at Good Shepherd is approached from the standpoint that each of our middle- and high-school-aged members is created in God’s image, yet a unique expression of this creation. Youth Group seeks to provide a safe and loving environment in which our adolescents can explore their gifts and identities as they grow into adults.
"We Have A Place For You."
